摘要

The histone deacetylase inhibitor valproic acid (VPA) has been reported to modify gene expression and increase sensitivity of cells to chemotherapy and radiotherapy in solid tumors. Hyperacetylation of histones opens chromatin and allows gene expression. Such modifications may improve response of resistant cancer cells to radiation. The hypothesis of this study was that VPA exposure would increase radiosensitivity of lymphoma cells.
