Megavoltage radiotherapy is a commonly employed treatment modality for many types of cancer in the veterinary patient. The impact of clinical fractionated definitive radiotherapy on hematopoietic function is of theoretical concern for patients with alarge volume of bone marrow included in the radiotherapy treatment volume.
