摘要

Requested of Myanmar Earthquake Committee, geophysical investigation team of the Irrigation Department was carried out investigation works at Shwedagon pagoda area. According to the nature of investigated area and it's environ, two dimensional resistivity imaging method is suitable for investigation because it is essential to know not only engineering properties but also weak zone, fault location of the foundation around Shwedagon Pagoda and Dagon City project area. The project area is located at southern part of the Shwedagon pagoda, between Uwisara Circle and Uhtonbo Circle along the car road and additional survey line located northern part of the Alanpya Pagoda, between Shwedagon Pagoda road and Zoological Garden road, , Dagon Township, Yangon Region, Myanmar.
