Treatment of Suprarenal Abdominal Aortic Aneurism A propos of three oases

The suprarenal abdominal aortic aneurism does not occur frequently. Its surgical treatment carries a high risk of ischemia of internal organs, especially kidneys. This research describes techniques for treating this lesion in 3 cases with renal protection called "in-situ renoplegia". The approach used was large left lombotomy. The main operation technique was prosthetic aortic replacement from suprarenal aorta to iliac arteries. Time of renal ischemia varied from 55 to 90 minutes. Post-operation results appeared to be good without renal failure in first 2 patients. Third case died in 16th day due to severe pulmonary infection; however, renal function was well maintained.
