Investigation of Nonlinear Characteristics in a 1-D Slotted Photonic Crystal Coupled Resonator Optical Waveguide with Modulated Mode-Gap

We investigate the nonlinear coefficient γ in a one-dimensional slotted photonic crystal coupled resonator optical waveguide with modulated mode-gap and find that the nonlinear coefficient of γ ≈ 10,000 m~(-1)W~(-1) is achievable.
