Investigation of nonlinear characteristics in a 1-D slotted photonic crystal coupled resonator optical waveguide with modulated mode-gap

We investigate the nonlinear coefficient γ; in a one-dimensional slotted photonic crystal coupled resonator optical waveguide with modulated mode-gap and find that the nonlinear coefficient of γ;≈ 10,000 m−1W−1 is achievable.
