摘要

Safety factor (FOS) varies linearly with the variation of rainfall condition and pore pressure. By this reason, it has a weak point that could not define the time and proper warning sign to secure the safety of the train. In this study, alternatives of FOS such as reliability index, probability of failure and velocity of probability of failure are applied to slope stability analysis introducing the reliability concept. Variations of slope stability were investigated for setting up the specification of safety management of slopes by rainfall infiltration. Executing a case study of a railway slope, it is shown to be applicable to specification of safety management.
