This paper brings out the salient features of a 3-dimensional surveillance radar developed by LRDE, Bangalore. The radar already field tested for its performance has been developed with a state-of-art architecture and technology in its aspects of signal and data processing, data and control flow and data presentation. The radar uses a multibeam solution for its three dimensional capability. This paper presents briefly the system configuration and highlights the various capabilities of the radar. Salient features of all the important subsystems are also outlined.
