Condition and Error Estimates in NumericalMatrix Computations

摘要

This tutorial paper deals with sensitivity and error estimates in matrix computationalprocesses. The main factors determining the accuracy of the result computed in floating—pointmachine arithmetics are considered. Special attention is paid to the perturbation analysis of matrixalgebraic equations and unitary matrix decompositions.
