Hundreds of millions of dollars and over 300,000 tons of e-scrap material are sold in the USA for metals extraction every year. This is a substantial amount of material. This paper and the accompanying PowerPoint presentation, given at the IPMI Annual Conference in June 2013, represent an attempt to measure the size of this market as best as can be done given current statistical information.
