摘要

Three different methods of hydrogen desorption temperature reduction and desorption kineticsimprovement of nanostructured hydrides are discussed. The first method is based on substantial hydrideparticle size refinement. The second method utilizes catalytic effects of nanometric n-Al_2O_3, n-Y_2O_3 and n-Ni additives. The third method is based on compositing of nanohydride mixtures. The composite approachis applied to the MgH2 plus NaBH4 and LiAlH4 systems. The particle size reduction causes formation ofunstable MgH2 phase, the nano additives improves kinetics and composite behavior of nanohydrides resultsin destabilization of the high temperature component.
