In the context of the prophylaxis and therapy of diseases of farm animals medicaments are given to a large extent parenterally by a subcutaneous or intramuscular injection. Tissue damage after intramuscular injection of preparations containing antibiotics is described consistently [1-2]. The purpose of this study was to investigate tissue lesions after intramuscular injection of Tulathromycin (Draxxin~R, Pfizer).
