EVALUATION OF INGELVAC CIRCOFLEX~R EFFICACY IN PCAVD AFFECTED FARROW TO FINISH FARMS IN KOREA

摘要

Porcine circovirus type 2 (PCV2) is the causal agent of PCVAD, also named porcine multisystemic wasting syndrome (PMWS). The development of effective vaccines against PCV2 infection has been considered as an important strategy in the control of PCVAD.Economic losses in the swine industry have increased yearly due to the high mortality and health care cost. Even though farmers tried harder, they could not achieve their original health status before the disease outbreak. This trial was performed to determine the efficacy of Ingelvac CircoFLEX~R in three Korean farrow to finish farms.
