摘要

A Life cycle assessment (LCA) of Sarkhoon gas treatment plant in Bandar Abbas-Iran has been performed to examine the net emissions of greenhouse gases, as well as other major environmental consequences for measuring the sustainability development activities. LCA is a systematic analytical method that helps identify and evaluate the environmental impacts of a specific process or competing processes. In order to quantify the emissions, resource consumption, and energy use (i.e. environmental stressors), material and energy balances are performed in cradle-to-grave manner on the operations required to transfer raw materials in to useful products. The purpose of this paper is to focus on LCA by establishing the balance of energy and GHG emissions throughout the life cycle of the all main sources in plant.
