dsorption of some metal ions (Pb~(+2) , Cu~(+2) , Zn~(+2) , Cr~(+6) , Ni~(+2) ) on humic acid produced in a pilot plant from Turkish Ilg?n lignite was investigated in this work. The effects of adsorption time, solution pH, metal concentration and temperature on humic acid adsorption capacity were investigated. The humic acid adsorption capacity was found to follow an order as Pb~(+2) > Cu~(+2) > Zn~(+2) > Cr~(+6) > Ni~(+2) .
