摘要

Effective properties of entangled flexible fibre assemblies are numerically predicted. Fibres are discretised into simple elements and contacts are identified. Electrical and mechanical properties are investigated. In both cases, percolation thresholds are inversely proportional to the aspect ratio. Beyond these thresholds, power laws are identified, with exponents independent of the aspect ratio.
