Enhanced Bioremediation Using Oxygen Infusion at Former Mom-and-Pop Stations(Abstract)

Abandoned leaking UST sites represent persistent environmental impacts across the country and remediation regularly targets those sites located in either urban or prosperous rural areas. Former mom-and-pop gasoline stations therefore represent challenging clean- ups due to rural settings and typical close proximity to residential water wells. Remedial actions at two former mom-and-pop UST sites in Pennsylvania are presented that imple- mented cost-effective solutions to enhance bioremediation.
