摘要

The concrete thermal stress is a core to control cracking during an arch dam construction. To simulate the pipe cooling effect, the discrete pipe arithmetic is used in the finite element model of the base dam block, and the equivalent pipe arithmetic is adopted in the finite element model of the whole arch dam. The simulation calculation not only includes concrete pouring, pipe cooling and heat preservation, but also transverse joint grouting and impounding course. According to the computation results some suggestions are proposed.
