摘要

In the paper, a hemispherical cavity with a multi-slotted array is designed to improve even heating for defrost application. Slot size is optimized to transfer the power of 2.45GHz. Heating performances of single-slotted array are analyzed with direct excitation to waveguide. Also, mixed heating performances of multi-slotted array are analyzed with bifurcated waveguide. Correlation analysis between waveguide feeding configuration and slotted-cavity is performed to verify the heating pattern according to a polarization of the electric field.
