摘要

The calibration range of spectral diffuse reflectance with respect to both the wavelength andreflectance level has been extending with instrumental refinement, new absolute reflectance measurement, preparation of reference materials and the instrument linearity evaluation in NMIJ. Our goal is to establish the spectral diffuse reflectance standard in the UV, visible and NIR region with various reflectance levels down to 1percent. This paper mainly discussed the basic strategy and methodology for the extension with emphasis on the instrumental development for absolute reflectance measurement facilities as well as NMIJ reference spectrophotometer.
