In this work the active control of MILD (moderate or intense low oxygen dilution) combustion for gas turbine applications is investigated. For this purpose, a new concept for pulsation of the air flow is introduced. The pulsating unit offers the possibility to vary the pressure fluctuations with a high degree of freedom during runtime. Based on this concept the influence of pressure pulsation on the MILD combustion is analyzed in terms of pollutant NO_x and CO emissions. For deeper insights into the combustion process, OH~*-chemi-luminescence measurements are performed.
