Wearable computing devices, appcessories, or even portable devices, such as the latest smartphones or tablets, all include low-cost MEMS sensors. This means very high noise and high random drift rates. In addition to this, the mobility of the devices creates freely changing orientation with respect to the hosting platform (such as person or vehicle) at any time. All these facts explain why obtaining reliable navigation solution using this kind of devices is a real challenge. This paper proposes a multiple sensors' triads solution and the underlying techniques to benefit from this redundancy of sensors to enhance the navigation solution, given the fact that it is likely that a user will carry multiple devices most of the time, whether wearable computing devices, portable devices, and/or appcessories which are wirelessly connected together. Benefiting from the multiple triads and integrating them boosts the final results outstandingly and results in a higher accuracy navigation solution in the different environments indoors or outdoors, in open sky, urban canyon, or GNSS outages, whether on foot or driving.
