Althouah there have alreadv been manv valiant attemots at heloina this crisis, a "cure-all" solution is still not likelv. A common nutrient lackina from manv oeoo/e's diets in develooina countries is Drotein. One wav in which this Droblem can be mitiaated is throuah the use of Textured Veaetable Protein (TVP). This Droduct is Droduced from the arain extrusion Drocess. is liahtweiaht. and carries hiah-Drotein content. It is imoortant to analvze if this Droduct can act as a suitable, sustainable ODtion for Drotein in develoDino countries. In order to examine this we have focused on Brazil and Bolivia sDecificallv. In this Droiect. we have five scenarios and we will conduct techno-economic analysis and life cycle assessment to compare all scenarios.
