摘要

The objective of this study was to evaluate the characteristics of rainfall-runoff using the CAT (Catchment hydrology cycle Analysis) model. The model was developed by the Korea Institute of Construction Technology (KICT) and used for quantitative analysis using physical parameters. The model simulates infiltration, evaporation and ground water flow by the link-node system which is composed of homogeneous watershed with similar land use and channel characteristics. The project site was HP#6 (3.84 km2) of Baran-reservoir watershed located in Gyeonggi-do, Korea. The flow length and average slope of the study watershed were 3.088 km and 1.493 m/km, respectively. To evaluate application of the CAT model for a small watershed, calibration was carried outby comparing the simulated to the measured data using 1997 and 1998 daily runoff data and validation was performed using 1999 daily runoff data.
