摘要

The interaction of nanoparticles (NPs) with cells and tissues has become a growing field of interest in consumer care and safety, nanotoxicology and medical applications e.g. as the ranosticor diagnostic agents. It will be shown that laser ablation inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP-MS) is a new analytical tool which can visualize the distribution of NP and which provides quantitative data at cellular levels.
