摘要

A variable optical launch system has been developed for use with polymer optical fibre (POF). The launch system delivered spot sizes up to 1 mm and numerical aperture (NA) up to 0.4, and was incorporated into spectral attenuation and bandwidth measurement systems for the characterisation of POF.
