Organozirconocene complexes have become very useful means in organic chemistry due to their unique ability to promote uncommon transformations . Particularly interesting is the co-cyclization of unsaturated molecules (alkynes, alkenes, imines, etc) mediated by zirconocene complexes. Despite the enormous work in this area developed in the recent years, the coupling reaction of zirconocene complexes and heterosubstituted alkenes remained almost unexplored. All these facts aimed us to initiate an in depth study on this kind of reactions and here, we present our most recent results.
