摘要

Sugar-aza-crown ethers, as chiral crown ethers derivatives, represent a new class of molecular receptors. We have developed a short and highly efficient route to sugar-aza-crown ethers through a one-pot cyclodimerization of C-glycosyl azido aldehydes followed by reduction . This process allows the preparation of various orthogonally protected derivatives from both - and -C-glycosyl azido aldehydes.
