CONSIDERATIONS CONCERNING THE CALCULATION OF INTERMEDIARY STEERING AXLE USING FINITE ELEMENT METHOD (FEM)

摘要

This paper presents the results of a study done with the intermediary steering axle fitted on the steering system of a motor-car The CAD model was done using CATIA V5 and the calculus using FEM by MSC/NASTRAN. The calculus were done considering the testing conditions imposed by the specification notes for product manufacturing. The results obtained were compared with those obtained by experiments done with these parts.
