Design and construction of UHV DC test base

摘要

In order to carry out the strategic target of "the west electric power sent over the east ", complete the first ±800kV DC transmission projects in the world, the SGCC has already started on the construction of UHV DC test base in Beijing. This paper introduces the construction meaning and function of the test base. It mainly includes: test transmission line, corona cage, outdoor test site, test hall, pollution and environment test laboratory, electromagnetism environment test site, UHV DC insulator test laboratory and arrester test laboratory. Concerning above-mentioned test facilities, this paper mostly introduce their basic function and main parameter of test apparatus. Appling these test apparatus not only completing the research task of the first ±800kV DC transmission projects, but also providing test means for research of national product of ±800kV DC equipments and ±1000kV DC transmission technology.
