Design and construction of UHV DC test base

摘要

In order to carry out the strategic target of "the west electric power sent over the east ",complete the first ±800kV DC transmission projects in the world, the SGCC has alreadystarted on the construction of UHV DC test base in Beijing. This paper introduces theconstruction meaning and function of the test base. It mainly includes: test transmission line,corona cage, outdoor test site, test hall, pollution and environment test laboratory,electromagnetism environment test site, UHV DC insulator test laboratory and arrester testlaboratory. Concerning above-mentioned test facilities, this paper mostly introduce their basicfunction and main parameter of test apparatus. Appling these test apparatus not onlycompleting the research task of the first ±800kV DC transmission projects, but also providingtest means for research of national product of ±800kV DC equipments and ±1000kV DCtransmission technology.
