Ammonium Sulfate Improves Detection of Hydrophilic Quaternary Ammonium Compounds through Decreased Ion Suppression in Matrix-Assisted Laser Desorption/Ionization Imaging Mass Spectrometry

摘要

AS improved the detection of hydrophilic QACs, especially Car, AcCar, and GPC, in mouse brain in MALDI. The improvement required higher concentrations than that for suppressing potassium adduction. Hydrophilic QACs in tissue sections was successfully visualized through the improvement by AS.
