Single Stage Tandem Mass Spectrometry Assignment of the C-5 Uronic Acid Stereochemistry in Heparan Sulfate Tetrasaccharides Using Electron Detachment Dissociation

摘要

The hexuronic acid stereochemistry of thirty-three HS tetrasaccharide standards have been assigned from a single stage tandem mass spectra. We propose a future application of this technique to naturally extracted HS tetrasaccharides with modified (Alkylated) reducing ends.
