High Performance Matrix Pre-coated Targets for MALDI Imaging of Lipids

With poly-lysine treated matrix pre-coated slides, the coating integrity is greatly improved and tissue placement is easier to carry out in practice. The pre-coated approach can be applied to both hydrophobic and hydrophilic matrices, and also is very advantageous toward volatile matrices that in most cases provide high sensitivity of detection. Furthermore, pre-coated approach has proven to have high throughput and high reproducibility.
