Determination of Papaverine and Other Alkaloids in Hot Pot Condiment by Direct Analysis in Real Time Mass Spectrometry

The study showed that each alkaloid has good linearity from 0.05 to 1.0 mg·kg~(-1) with correlation coefficients greater than 0.98. The limit of detection (LOD) for morphine, codeine, thebaine, narcotine and papaverine was 2.4, 2.4, 1.2, 0.048, and 0.024 ng·mL~(-1), respectively. The limit of quantification (LOQ) was 8.0, 8.0, 4.0, 0.16, and 0.08 ng·mL~(-1), respectively. The recoveries were from 79.8% to 139.5%, and the relative standard deviations (RSD%) from 1.069% to 9.372%. Recoveries of the D3 spiked samples were from 81.3 to 103.5%, and the RSD% from 3.02% to 4.55%.
