The SFC/QqQ MS system developed in this study has sufficient sensitivity and accuracy for the analysis of multiresidue pesticides. The advantage of SFC is that it can achieve a high-throughput multiple pesticide analysis without reduction in chromatographic resolution, because a total of 509 chemicals including isomers were analyzed simultaneously by performing the single-run SFC/MS/MS method with a 20 min run time. Finally, we demonstrated that a total of 430 pesticides were confirmed in biological extracts at 10 μg/kg levels (provisional MRLs in Japan), despite the lack of solid-phase purification.
