Laser Ablation Atmospheric Pressure Photoionization on a Portable Ion Trap Mass Spectrometer

摘要

2940 nm and 940 nm LAAPPI enables detection of small molecule metabolites in monocultured P. aeruginosa. Other laser ablation strategies with portable 940 nm and non-portable 2940 nm laser possible (i.e., LAESI). LAAPPI can be implemented to other AP-interface mass spectrometers. Source currently fits Thermo AP interface. 940 nm LAAPPI with MT-50 constitutes a field-portable method to directly sample solid materials.
