Biological specimens contain divers cells differentiated from its identical genetic expressions. Bulk sample analyses of general biomolecules give us numerous valuable results. However, the cells are heterogeneous even in the same circumstances, and the results of the bulk analyses are more or less averaged. Live single-cell molecular analysis enabled us to detect ionic compounds of low molecular weight sampled from live single cells. However, peptides and proteins are less sensitive to be detected in this method. In this study by appling the single-cell MS (mass spectrometry) method for peptide detection, we introduced CPP (cell penetrating peptide) to the cultured cells, and tried to detect the CPP by SRM (serected reaction monitoring) method.
