Development of imaging MS methods to monitor the molecular composition of latent fingermarks

摘要

Sublimated 2-MBT is an efficient matrix for IMS of exogenous and endogenous substances from latent fingermarks. Silver deposition by sputtering is a novel method developed for IMS that allows the privileged detection and IMS of cholesterol, wax esters, triglycerides and fatty acids from fingermarks.
