Mass spectra of three NCAs were acquired with electron ionization and also with electrospray ionization using collision induced dissociation. NCAs are readily extracted with water or ethanol from plastic labware made of clear polypropylene at nanogram to microgram levels. NCAs are readily extracted with water from household food storage containers made of clear polypropylene at microgram levels for two of three brands tested. Pre washing food storage containers in dishwasher had little effect on extracted levels of NCAs.
