Protein immobilization via cysteine residues for enzymatic digestion of samples containing detergent

We have shown that the cysteine capture workflow effectively immobilizes the majority of cellular proteins on a solid support. This reaction is compatible with many detergents and peptides released by trypsin are amenable to quantitative analysis based on LC-MS signal.
