Census: A Tool for Quantitative Analysis of Complex Peptide Mixtures via Stable Isotope Labeling or Differential LC-MS

Quantitative analysis becomes increasingly popular and important in the proteomics research. However, there are various obstacles to overcome such as minimizing manual validation, calculating correct ratios, performance of the software, improving quantification efficiency, and filtering out poor quantitative data. Each of those obstacles has been considerxed into the design of CenSus. CenSus supports various quantitative methods: both data-dependent and data-independent methods, and both low and high resolution data. By choosing appropriate quantitative methods and filtering, the quality of quantitative analysis result can be maximized.
