摘要

Larger clusters dissociate by solvent loss; mixed clusters preferentially lose water. Proton transfer completes with solvent loss in 3 and 4 coordinate mixed clusters, with higher water content favoring proton transfer. Deuteration studies show that water is the proton donor. Electron transfer was only observed for M~(2+)(CH_(3)CN)_(2). Heterolytic bond cleavage was not observed, although we were unable to study Co~(2+)(CH_(3)CN).
