Pulse Counting Detector with Near Simultaneous Detection of Negative and Positive Ions for Quadrupole Mass Spectrometry

摘要

A discrete dynode pulse counting detector capable of near-simultaneous negative and positive ion detection has been developed. Next steps include incorporating a novel ion source capable of near-simultaneous negative and positive ion formation, and software that permits scan-by-scan data acquisition of rapid switching of the ion path polarity.
