Difficult behaviors in the work place can make doing your job impossible. Whether it is a hostile boss, perpetually negative co-worker, exploding customer or indecisive associate, each puts you at a disadvantage. However, by recognizing four primary personality types (temperaments) and what motivates each to display difficult behaviors, you can develop coping strategies that allow you to restore a balance of power and to do your jobs effectively.
