Smart Suit for Agricultural Use (1st Report, A prototype of smart suit and its fundamental experiments)

摘要

In this study, we aim to develop a light-weight wearable power assit system "Smart Suit" for agricultural work. The smart suit mainly consists of elastic materials and adjustable assist mechanisms. In this report, we developed a prototype of smart suit for supporting lower back. An optimal rubber -as an elastic material- mounting location for reducing muscular fatigue was experimentally verified. Experimental results show the adjustable assist mechanism is effective for assist ratio control.
