June 2000 was one of the most active months near the solar cycle 23 maximum. Within our observation period of 3 – 15 June, there were three high energy (> 50 MeV/nucleon) energetic particle events, several GOES X- and M-class flares and LASCO CMEs. The events, which occurred on June 3, 6 and 10, were each accompanied with a flare from NOAA active region 9026. The analysis of particle spectra revealed, that fitting with a single, well known form of power-law with exponential cut-off does not yield satisfactory results for these events. We present an evaluation of single and combined Ellison-^sRamaty forms of fit and compare the quality of obtained fits with the chi-square goodness-of-fit test. Based on our proton analysis, we concluded that best fit for all three events was provided by the double ER model. However, in the June 3 event also the single ER model provided a reasonable approximation. Due to the size of this first event, statistics of oxygen were limited and the single ER model was enough to provide a good fit. In the June 6 event the double ER model fitted the proton spectrum substantially better, and the fit provided for oxygen spectrum was also slightly better. The single ER model fitted well to the oxygen spectrum of the June 10 event.
