To design an efficient building the usable area has to be maximized. This means that the areas for technical equipment and transport facilities have to be minimized - a big challenge for all involved engineers. The content of the presentation will include different possibilities of planning vertical transportation in high rise buildings. Beside conventional elevators also arrangements with double car systems like Double Decker and TWIN (2 independent cars in one shaft), further the new generation of planning with the rope less multi-car system "MULTI" will be explained. The right combination of elevators system will be the key for an efficient solution.
