PESSRAL (EN 81/A1) in your product development

摘要

Until now basically the security of lifts according EN 81-1/2 is designed with electromechanical components. However, in the epoch of computers, CPU's and IT programmable electronic systems and embedded software is slowly but surely introduced in the world of lifts. So, instead of using electromechanical designed safety components it will be possible to use solid-state electronic systems and/or embedded software for safety related systems. Therefore PESSRAL document EN 81-1:1998/A1:2005 has been prepared by the Technical Committee CEN/TC10.
