Polyaniline/titanium dioxide nanocomposites (PAN-TiO{sub}2) were synthesized "in-situ" polymerization of aniline and its derivatives in the presence of TiO{sub}2 (rutile) using oxidizer (ammonium persulfate). The synthesized PAN-TiO{sub}2 nanocomposites were investigated by means SEM analyses. The adsorption-sructute static volume method (ASSVM) showed that the PAN and nanocomposites are mesopore systems. Such processable PAN-TiO{sub}2 nanocomposites have suitable conductivity (σ) 10{sup}(-3)-10{sup}(-1)S/cm. These materials may be used as sensors, and special conducting coatings.
